Fleetwood Mac, a British-American rock band, originated in London in 1967 under the leadership of guitarist and vocalist Peter Green. Green assembled the lineup, including drummer Mick Fleetwood, multi-instrumentalist and vocalist Jeremy Spencer, and bassist Bob Brunning, although Brunning was later replaced by John McVie shortly after the band's initial debut.
