Pink Floyd—Syd Barrett, Nick Mason, Roger Waters, and Richard Wright—during their first official photoshoot in April 1967. The session took place in Ruskin Park, located in Denmark Hill, London, and was conducted by photographer Colin Prime, who was also a part-time disc jockey. Prime had met the band during their performances in London clubs and arranged this shoot to capture their emerging presence in the music scene. The images from this session showcase the band members in high spirits, engaging in playful activities such as sitting on benches and posing near the park's portico. Notably, one of the photos from this shoot was later used by Syd Barrett to create a silhouette illustration featured on the back cover of Pink Floyd's debut album, The Piper at the Gates of Dawn.
